Chances for UTK?

<p>I am currently a high school senior who lives in Knoxville, Tennessee. I would be considered a first generation college student since none of my parents or grandparents attended college. I am applying to the University of Tennessee before the November 1st early action (or whatever its called) deadline. I have taken several honors, AP, and dual enrollment classes. My main problem is that I have no extracurricular activities worth mentioning, and it is kind of late to do anything about it. Will that be a make-or-break factor in my situation?</p>

<p>GPA W/UW: 3.26/3.08
ACT: 26 (retaking it in December)
SAT: 1680</p>

<p>While at U Tennessee, lack of ECs is not exactly a “make-or-break” thing, it can affect your chances. That said, EA often increases chances so, for now, I’d say a low match.</p>

<p>Thank you for the reply. That definitely makes me feel a little better about this. I have other options, but I really want to go to UT.</p>
