Chances for UVA, Cornell, Vanderbilt, USC, UCLA, Georgia Tech

<p>I'm from out of state (Florida), and unsure about my chances for UVA, Cornell, Vandy, USC, UCLA,, and Georgia Tech.</p>

<p>I'm in the IB program at school, and have a 4.0 unweighted GPA (All A's) and and 4.98 weighted. Taking a tough schedule (all academic classes are IB, except for 1 honors Physics course b/c my school doesn't offer AP/IB).</p>

<p>2130 SAT (710 CR 690 M 730 W)
SAT II Chem/Math 2 TBD</p>

<p>Varsity Soccer Team, soccer club team captain, JV basketball, Cross country team, restaurant employee (12 hours a week), Math, Science, English, National Honor Societies, attended engineering leadership conference summer of 2014 at Georgia Tech, several service projects including a month trip to Ecuador the summer of 2013. </p>

<p>3 AP tests taken: World History (4), Language and Comp (4), APUSH (5)
AP Scholar
Top 2% of county students</p>

<p>Future plans: chemical or materials science engineer</p>

<p>All high reaches except UCLA (low reach) and Georgia tech (match)</p>

<p>you consider UVA and USC high reaches? Vandy and Cornell are for sure low chance but I think i have a better chance of getting into UVA and USC</p>

<p>I think Vanderbilt and Cornell are reaches, but you have a chance! Go for it! You never know. And for UCLA and USC, you are a fit, and you will probably get accepted. UVA and Georgia Tech for sure you will get in!</p>
