<p>I think that Middlebury is a reach, mainly because you’re not in the top 10%. Last year 88% of Midd students were in the top 10% of their class, and the other 12% were mainly recruited athletes, URMs, development kids, and students with an exceptionally strong hook (like winning an Emmy Award). Your SATs are in the right ballpart for Midd. Doesn’t hurt to try, though! Try to clearly demonstrate what makes you stand out from all the other applicants with similar stats.</p>
