Freshman Year: all A's mostly all advanced
Sophomore Year: all A's, 1 B+, 1 AP
Junior Year: Horrible First Semester, 5 B's, 2 A's, 4 AP classes with 3 Governor's School classes (Had to apply to get in, only 8 people did) including Physics, Calc, and Junior Research
SAT I: 2040 (770M, 600CR, 670W, 8 Essay), will take again in 2 weeks
SAT II: 790 Math II
Plenty of EC, all since freshman year, ACE, tennis, etc, many of which went to state level
200+ volunteer hours at the hospital
Awards: many science fair awards, state participant, project was on wind turbines and I am going to Intern in Taiwan for 2 months in a government project that constructs offshore turbines (does that highlight my interest in clean energy?)
Activities: John Hopkins summer camp, UVA summer enrichment program, Summer governor's school program (all of which I applied to and was accepted)
Recommendations: My junior research project is astrochemistry, and all three of my mentors are from UVA, who could write me good recommendations.
My question is if I do well second semester, say, 5 A's 2 B's, and get 2100 on my second try, do I have a good chance? (I'm also in-state, first generation). I plan to take a few more SAT subject tests too.

UVA: Match (at 3.7 UW/2100; then again the quantity that matters at most Virginia schools is the weighted GPA)

anyone else? :O
