Chances for UW Madison Business Direct Admit Program

I am currently a Junior in High School in Wisconsin and my ultimate goal is to get accepted into UW Madison's Direct Admit program for the Business School. Most get into the business school at Madison as a Sophomore but I really want to get into the direct admit program and I know this year they said they took 80-100 students for this program and they have increased it by like 20 every year since they started i think 3 or 4 years ago. Website says the typical profile for a student accepted into this program is 30-34 ACT, 3.9 or higher Unweighted GPA, and top 3% of class, also interest in business. I feel I have good chances of getting into the university but the direct admit I'm not sure. My stats:

ACT: 29
English 28
Math 32
Reading 22 :(
Science 32
Writing Essay- 9
GPA: 3.96 unweighted/ 4.3 weighted... 12 of 370 for class rank (almost top 3%)
AP classes:
-Human Geo- 3 (Freshman year, should have done way better)
-Taking Calc AB and Microeconomics this year (i think I will get a 4 or 5 on both, math and businesses classes are my strengths)
-Taking Calc BC, Macroeconomics, Physics 1, Government, and Statistics next year. So overall 8 AP classes in HS.
-Taken other non-AP honors classes
-Good ECs. Will most likely be in a leadership position in DECA (Business club) next year and qualified for Internationals last year. Also Ive done many Business related events such as finance quiz bowl and Business challenge.

What are my chances and what can I do to improve or help towards my chances at getting into that program? Also any tips for the ACT Reading because it has anchored my composite score down twice now and I know i can do better on English and Math too. Thanks.

My niece, a WI resident, is in the business school, but started in sciences. She had no problem switching into business college. She was thrilled when accepted to UW-M. You can probably raise your ACT or SAT. Look at ACT prep, including individual tutoring - my DD got her ACT score to a 30 which included much work and tutoring (she needed the 30 score for full tuition at her school of choice along with increase in her engineering scholarship). DD raised all her ACT area scores - tutor had a 36 on her ACT when she was a teen, and tutor had great reputation for helping students maximize their strengths and also improve on their weak areas. Have a great finish on your junior year, make good use of your time and energy. Good Luck.

I was in DECA in high school in WI. Great program.

Perhaps your guidance counselor and parents can give you some additional fine-tuning advice.
