Thanks for the responses. I have decided to focus on my grades/college apps instead of taking the SAT one more time so unfortunately that reading score will remain there. However because I am applying for chemical engineering I am hoping that they look more at the math score. If you want me to chance back just post the link here!

Yep, higher SAT score would help a bit, as with ECs, which are nice but limited…Hope the essays and recs come out nicely, and that could seal the deal for you. I’d say High match just to be careful.

As a VANDY parent I would say you have a very good chance. But if you do ED you are a shoo in. As RD here is the problem: you will be facing an Avalanche of IVY rejects. Can your score stand upto those? Nobody can tell now. But if you are really, really interested in VANDY then ED is the way for you ( 22% acceptance VS. 11%)

I think you’ve got it, just bump up that CR score! Vanderbilts a great school, many people have positive experiences so i wish you the best of luck… chance me back?

Thanks for the answers! Though I cannot raise that CR score, I will try my hardest to get good grades and focus on my essays. Really hoping that I can get in here.
