Chances for Vandy, USC, NYU, Cornell, UNC, Wesleyan...

<p>I know it's pretty late in the game, but I need some type of reassurance. Hopefully I didn't waste all that money on app. fees for nothing. :-{}</p>

<p>Frosh at Hunter college in NYC -urm, wealthy(not sure if this will help or hurt me)</p>

<p>hs stats
2.85 gpa( got involved with the wrong crowd, stupid stuff, yada yada yada)-EXTREMELY competitive NYC private hs</p>

<p>sat-2300(shows I have potential)</p>

<p>hs ecs- non-existent</p>

<p>College stats-
4.0 gpa-15 credits fall semester</p>

<p>4.0gpa(so far)- 18 credits spring semester</p>

<p>ecs- I work at my mom's law office(plan on going to law school), so I really don't have time for any school ecs.</p>

<p>major- political science</p>

<p>you would have been better off waiting another year, because your HS stats will still count a lot</p>

<p>Wait and work on your ECs big time. Join clubs, take on leadership roles, and keep up the good grades. You may be considered for some of those with exceptionally drawing essays and such, but it’s unlikely.</p>
