Chances for Vandy?

<p>I am a rising Senior and I am definitely going to apply to Vandy, but what are my chances? </p>

<p>-Caucasian, female, from Tennessee
-Weighted GPA of 4.1
-My school doesn't rank and our grade system is a little different (a 93+ is an A), so I don't know if that will change anything
-ACT: 32
-AP Scores: APUSH 5, AP Lang and Comp: 5
-My school offers 6 different AP courses, and i will be taking AP Lit and Comp and AP Gov my Senior year
-I have taken all Honors courses available, and my lowest grade has been a B one semester</p>

9th, 10th, 11th: Headmaster's List
12th: Main Street Arts "Art Sweetheart" ~attended parade
10th: Media Apps Award (presented to one student in the class)
11th: Art I Award (given to one student in the class)
9th: Tractor Supply Company Runner Up in national art contest
9th: 1st place in age group for the Junior Duck Stamp contest- tennessee, artwork on tour
11th: 2nd place in age group for tennessee Junior Duck Stamp contest, artwork on tour, featured on show pamphlet</p>

<p>Activities:
9th, 10th: I performed in 4 school plays, was stage crew for two others, and head of artistic vision and face paint and makeup for 2
9th, 10th: Attended oil painting class
10th, 11th: Volunteered at the library
11th: Key Club; volunteered help in Hoops for Heart, in charge of student tutoring
11th: Wild Honey Literary Society; art for poems, my poems were published in this school collection in 10th and 11th grade
11th, 12th: Main Street Arts (nonprofit arts co-op in my community) member, gallery superviser, voted "Art Sweetheart," assisted in community events, crafts, face painting, etc
Summer of 12th: Main Street Arts summer camp assistant
Red Cross Adult CPR Certified
Red Cross First Aid Certified</p>

<p>Admissions to top private schools are very difficult to predict.</p>

<p>I think how your extra circulars are generally focused on art is a very good thing, and you seem to be very successful with it–you’ve had art on tour, that’s pretty impressive. No matter what colleges accept you, you should be very happy with your accomplishments; they’re awesome.</p>

<p>Thanks! I hoped that my proclivity for art might set me apart. I will be applyng Undecided to the College of Arts and Sciences.</p>
