I would say “match.” Your GPA is really good and your SAT scores fall right into the average for Villanova. If you’re very involved in your EC and write a great essay and get an awesome teacher recommendation then you have a pretty decent shot. Good luck!

thank you! :)

same boat as you. Good luck! I’m assuming your going early action, and I’m still figuring out what my supplement is gonna be… ha

Actually, your SATs are below average for Villanova. Average would be 1933, or 30-ish on the ACT scale. Also, your ECs kind of suck, in that they are not nearly as numerous as colleges would like (sorry for being so blunt). These things negatively affect your application, so please don’t consider you a shoe-in. I just think your app is below average for Nova.

i never said i was a shoe in…

thank you by the way -_-

Lol yeah people get kind of jealous so they try their best to put you down. dont worry your going to be fine.

thanks i appreciate it haha
i mean i want people to be honest, but a bit nicer jeez.

Obviously you can never know for sure but I’d say it is a target school for you. Yes, I do believe their average SAT scores are about 1990/2400 and 1340/1600 (these are the current averages of students accepted into villanova from my HS - we are out of state). But I do believe your GPA is a good match and the fact you’re in the top 3% looks awesome!

GOOD LUCK!
