Chances for Virginia Tech***

I am currently a JR with a GPA of 3.522, I have no yet taken my SAT's but my PSAT's predicted between a range of 1120-1150. I have taken 2 honors history classes and I am enrolled In APUSH as a JR making B+'s. As a SR. I will enroll In another AP history course as well as AP english. I also am on the Varsity Baseball team and belong to FBLA, Future Business Leaders of America. However the one thing that worries me is that I am a white male from Northeren Virginia. Two things though that I think help my chances are I have never gotten below a B as a final grade, and from the beginning of 8th grade I have improved my gpa an entire point. 8th grade 3.0 (Spanish 1),9th grade (3.4), 10th grade (3.5), and 11th grade my semester GPA was (3.64). Pleas tell me the blunt truth of what you think my chances are because I dont think that I have gotten a straight answer yet!

PS- I will be applying to the School of Business and not the overly competitive engineering program

Carl, I think your chances look good. Certainly better than 50/50. If you were OOS I wouldn't be so sure, but you're IS and you have a good GPA, you're applying to the Business School, and you have good EC's including varsity athletics. I'd relax a bit, but I'd also retake the SATs if your first scores aren't good enough. I improved dramatically on my retake :)

Thanks I really appreciate the vote of confidence :-) !
