Hi, @FLBoy4994 ! I’m glad to see you’re looking at Wake. I’ll provide some commentary for you by category.

Standardized Tests
I would send your SAT. You’re going to be roughly near the median score for Wake Forest, but if you retake it and pick up a few more points on the math side, you’ll have a nice super-score. When you apply, you can also include your SAT subject test and the better of your AP scores. The SAT Subject Tests and AP scores aren’t a huge deal for Wake admissions, but they definitely won’t hurt you.

GPA
Considering that Wake Forest is test-optional, GPA constitutes a key factor of just about every admission decision. Your unweighted GPA looks solid and so does your weighted GPA. If you’re looking at RD, a safe WGPA hovers in the 4.2 and higher range, so a 4.44 is good. My only question involves your class rank. Did you really mean the top 24%, or did you mean top 2-4%? The only reason I ask is that for students that have a class rank, about 90% of accepted students at Wake are ranked in the top 10% of their respective high school classes. In other words, your GPA resembles that of an accepted student whereas your class rank (if it’s actually 24%) does not.

Extracurriculars
These look good. You have a nice blend of volunteer service, leadership, and athletics.

Awards
Congrats on the AP award! (I assume you just got the scores the other day!)

Senior Schedule
That’s a good-looking senior-year schedule. You’re right where you want to be. Also great to see capstone research in there.

Major
Wake doesn’t really base admissions off of intended major like a lot of schools do, so it’s somewhat irrelevant. With that said, Wake has a wonderful Economics Department, so great choice!
