I was just wondering as to my general chances at admission.
Stats:

SAT II (710 Math II, 700 Lit, 670 WH)
3 yrs swimmer
2 yrs track
1 yr soccer
NHS, Spanish NHS
NMS commended scholar
Some awards and some community service etc..
Thanks for the help.

My S had very similar stats and got in...you should be fine.

Given that you don't write terrible essays, I'd say you're in.

question, what does that gpa convert to on a 4.0 non weighted?

3.208? ten characterz

i don't think you can convert just by doing a proportion

My GPA unweighted is around 3.6 ish. Thanks for the WFU comments, just wondering, would there be any chance at UNC chapel hill? I hear its nearly impossible for out of state.

I think UNC is only like 19% out of state. I would say you might as well apply as it wouldn't hurt. For me personally, i've been contemplating whether or not i should apply EA because i don't know if it's worth mytime because of my chances being out of state. I really like UNC's campus though. All i know is that i'm apply ED to UVA.

UNC out of state is pretty ridiculous; it's a crapshoot for everyone that applies, even the best candidates. It never hurts to apply, though. As for your chances at Wake, I'd say you've got a great chance. My SATs were about 150 points and I got in somehow.
