One of the main issues is that my school isn't too high up there in terms of quality. It's solid, but it's no ivy factory :( I've done what I can given my environment, but I'm afraid I'll be taken down too easily by kids who simply had better schools...

Your scores are pretty good, but kind of average. The only thing you have that stands out are the FBLA awards and violin, but do you have any community service or violin awards, perhaps?

My only community service comes from National Junior Honor Society, roughly 200 hours total through various activities. But no awards >.>
As for violin, I’m good enough to say that my 10 years hasn’t been a waste, but I’m no exceptional talent.

P.s. haha average…hence my username =p

The reason I say average is because for Wharton, I would imagine that the scores are going to be really high, but don’t get me wrong, your SAT II scores are very high, and a 2250 is not something everyone can achieve.

The only thing is, you can expect lots of people to have good scores, so I would try to highlight what’s different, like FBLA. I was going to suggest you submit an artistic supplement of your playing violin, but sounds like that’s not quite an option haha. (Not sure if they have artistic supplements… I kinda ignored parts of the app that didn’t apply to me.)

Oh and I might add, I’m Asian as well, so I feel where you’re coming from :p

haha, well your chances are a hell of a lot better than mine. I think you’ve got a good shot; could go either way, maybe 50/50. But closer to the in side.

Chance back?

bump…raising the dead XD

I’d say on the fence. Scores are good but the ECs are pedestrian and the school is a minus. Do well on the interview.
