What do you think my chances are for Wharton, not having started my business and not being a millionaire in high school? and any suggestions for other schools to look at? areas of resume to improve/emphasize? Thanks!

You have a very strong application. Really, it's just a matter of showing them that a) you're a right fit and b) that you belong in Wharton.

I really honestly wouldn't worry about "rounding out your application," as far as #'s to #'s, yours are stronger than mine, and I got into the M&T program. Yes, things have been getting more competitive, but that doesn't mean you should become mroe of an overachiever than ever before, it just means you need to stress to them that you're a real, living human being with passion, flesh, and blood, and that you belong at Wharton.

actually, collegeboard announced that SAT scores went down for this year's cohort. They also said that some/many college average SAT ranges went down even more than the overall SAT score plunge.

Maxy, getting in is about far more than SAT scores.

so I've noticed...I now realize my previous comment was superfluous.sorry

oh, and to add to that, the other night at underclass awards... I got the UPenn book award... if that means anything

not to be mean or anything, but the person who got the upenn book award at our school didn't get in... I didn't get any book award :(, but maybe getting into Wharton was better, we'll see... anyways, just keep doing what you are doing and you should have a great chance of getting in
