Chances for William and Mary?

I've been researching colleges and fell in love with College of William and Mary. It's now my dream school.

These are my classes for Junior and Senior Year:
Leadership Academy
Spanish 2
German 2
Hon. English
Hon. Physics
AP Govt. (3)
AP Calc (4)

This is what I'm taking Senior year:
Leadership Academy 2 (This includes an Internship in the community- I'm interning at a local museum)
Hon. Spanish 3
AP Physics 2
Hon. World Lit
Astronomy
AP Stats
AP World History

ECs: President of Leo and Key Club, member of the Air Force Teen Council, National Honor Society, Speech/Debate team, Girl Scouts (13 Years), and member of a Renaissance Group (teaches people about the Medieval and Renaissance times through reenactment)

My GPA is: 3.95 (out of 4)
Class Rank: 18/397 (4.5%)
ACT Score: 30

Please let me know how good my chances are of getting in. I would also need to get a scholarship of some sort. There's no way I can pay for OOS tuition. Thank you!

W&M: Reach

Maybe you have a few non-reaches that are more affordable than that…

You have a decent chance considering that you are in the top 5% of your class, have good ECs, and an ACT that is approximately smack dab in the 50th percentile You have also already taken the highest level/most rigorous level of calc and physics at your school, which is something they look for. The only thing I would be concerned about is your status as an OOS student. As an OOS student myself, I can tell you it can be pretty up there. For those who qualify, the highest W&M can meet for OOS students is 25% of the overall costs.

There are also limited merit scholarships. The two main ones that can help cover tuition are the William and Mary Scholars and the 1693 Scholars. The former is largely reserved for students of minority/first generation background who have done exceptional things academically or in their personal lives. The second is a highly selective program where student undergo rounds of interviews and approximately 10-15 students are chosen. While I love the school and would happily recommend it to anyone, I would be cautious about advising it to anyone OOS with high financial need and would suggest you have backup options

Let me know if you have any other questions about the College.
