Alright I kind of made a mistake on my application and I'm wondering if it will affect my chances of getting into the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Im an In-State Senior who just sent in my Application. Some facts about my application
ACT: 31 (11 on Writing section)
GPA: 3.86 Weighted
8 AP Classes
AP Scholar with honor
Letter of Commendation From National Merit Scholarship
2 well written letters of rec.
The problem is i already sent in my application with a gaping error in my essay. I'm used to writing in Microsoft Word Processor which capitalizes your I's when you write them. Apparently i wasn't thinking when i wrote my essay because I didn't capitalize any of my I's. I only did this in one of my two essays and I'm wondering if this will have a drastic effect on my chances of getting in. I know I should have taken more time and had somebody proofread but i guess i was anxious to send it out.
Thanks for any Feedback!

Just send an e-mail to the admissions office explaining the error. You are a sure lock for Wisconsin with those stats, don’t worry!

So you think acknowledging the mistake would be the best route from here? I just don’t want to unnecessarily make it a big deal.
