Chances for WUSTL ED?

Hello everyone,
I am a Junior and I was looking into colleges (and have been for quite some time now lol) and WashU is a school that I have become really fond of through some of my friends, what I’ve read about it, and through an admissions officer. Through what I’ve heard and seen, WashU is a more relaxed place (compared to some of the other schools I’ve visited), but they are still very academically strong and have lots of academic opportunities for students. I am planning on visiting at least once more before I apply, and definitely plan to take advantage of their overnight tour program that they offer.
However, I was wondering if WashU was actually a feasible school for me to get into. I’ve done some research, and I’ve seen some mixed results; some websites have drastically different scores and GPA for ED compared to others.

I have a 3.72 UW, 4.2 W.
I go to a highly-ranked school in CT, and my workload is relatively tough (I’ve taken AP AB Calc, AP Stats, AP Bio, AP Phys 1, APUSH, AP Phys 2, AP Environmental Science, AP BC Calc, AP Psych, AP Chem). I am planning to take SAT II’s for both Math I and II as well as Biology.
My ACT is a 34. (M36, R33, S34, E33), however, I am going to try to get it superscored to a 35 (I know that WashU superscores so hopefully this can maybe negate my low GPA somewhat).
I think I can get 2-3 recommendations easily from my teachers (they are from Math, Science, and English) and 2 from my bosses and advisors, so I have many options as far as recommendations go.
My essays will be strong, maybe 8 or 9 out of 10

A condensed version of my resume is below:

I am thinking of double-majoring or doing a minor in Pre-Med and Business (Business would be the minor or the second major).

Could you please chance me for WashU if I apply ED? Also, I know the ED Acceptance Rate is somewhat higher than the RD one but does anyone know exactly how much higher it is?

Thank you!

I’m sorry for not actually chancing, but NSHSS is a scam. Be warned.

Your other ECs are pretty good, though.

The 3.7 will ding you a bit. What area of the country are you applying from?

@awesomepolyglot thank you for the warning. I’ll be sure to try to remove myself from that organization

@boolaHI I’m from CT

Seems like we have similar stats! I think that you have a pretty good chance, based off of what people have said to me if I were to ED WashU which I’m not. Here’s my thread if you want to see the similarity and possibly chance me back (it’s pretty old):

I think you have a very good chance. My daughter is a freshman there and loves it for all the reasons you mentioned. It really is a fantastic campus with elite academics and really down to earth kids. Good luck!!

How big of a difference would it make if I were to apply ED vs RD? I am definitely applying here ED next year, but I just wanna know how much of a difference it would make for an applicant like me.
