<p>I know the SAT score is pathetic, but i hope i made up for it.</p>
<p>8: amazing and can be give you an advantage. might want to get into more detail on the application, though. </p>
<p>17: depends on the selectivity of the programs however it shows the interest you have in a field. studying at mit for the summer? looks great</p>
<p>11: pretty typical nowadays with tutors and the works but, either way, it shows tremendous
initiative and self study</p>
<p>Rank = excellent and SAT scores are dead center for what most ivy leagues except </p>
<p>Idk how common it is for Y to have a comp sci major and your chances depends also on your ethnicity and what state you live in. If you’re from a very well represented state, I’d say your chances are a little above the average applicant. If you’re Asian, it might decrease your chances but not enough for you to not have a good chance. work on essays</p>
<p>So you’re not actually “gonna get published in a national computer science magazine,” you don’t actually have a 2200, you don’t have a perfect GPA, and you didn’t do Siemens? </p>
