<p>I'm thinking about applying to Yale EA this fall. Does it seem likely, or would I be better off applying RD?</p>

<p>Stats:
Chinese female, suburban New Jersey
Public school (sends 1 or 2 kids to ivies a year--and rarely HYP). The school itself is majority black/hispanic
Class rank: top 3 in class of 500</p>
<p>Tests:
SATI: 2370 (800 CR, 800 W, 770 M)
SATII: 790 USH, 750 Math II, 770 Bio M, Literature 790
AP: 5 English Language, I'm waiting on Bio, English Lit, Chinese, and US History this year</p>
<p>Grades/Courses:
GPA: 4.0 unweighted, 4.8 weighted (will be around 5.02 including junior year)
High honor roll all 3 years so far
AP's: English Language, Bio, Eng. Lit, US History, & next year I'm taking Spanish Lang., Physics, Calc AB, & World History.
by the end of HS i will have 4 yrs math, 4 yrs language, 4 english, and 5 science (taking 2 sciences this yr)</p>
<p>EC:
- Varsity XC, Indoor Track, & Outdoor Track: All-county & all-area in XC, all-area in track, and co-captain of XC
- I've played the violin since I was 8, and play in the school orchestra
- Co-founder/VP of the Chinese Club
- Co-founder/treasurer of the environmental club (we organized and introduced a schoolwide recycling program)
- NJ Science League (8th individually in the state for Bio II, 4th teamwise)
- I volunteer in crafts classes at my chinese school
- I tutor elementary school kids in Spanish every week
- Relay for Life team captain (have raised $6000+ in the last 5 yrs)</p>

- Over 200 hrs with my chinese school (visiting hospices, nursing homes, etc), Relay for Life, AID, school tutoring, playing violin @ community events</p>

- Interned at a plastics company summer of 9th grade
