<p>The school doesn’t rank.</p>
<p>Could you estimate? Your weighted GPA seems a bit low; but if that is still the highest (or nearly so) at your school, it won’t be a problem.</p>
<p>I would guess top 10% but there are 32 kids in my grade so that’s not saying a lot.</p>

<p>I would also think that Kenyon is a pretty low match for you.</p>
<p>i think the only bad thing is that you weren’t really consistent with your ECs. Why didn’t you do anything in 11th grade, sports-wise? Also, the top-student thing won’t be as impressive if your grade is that small - especially if your UW GPA is a 3.8. Also, you say theatre since 5th grade, but honestly colleges don’t really care what you have done before high school, so they won’t be seeing that unless you write an EC essay or something about it…</p>
<p>but as to whether you have a chance or not, i think you do for most of those schools, since your SAT score is pretty good! I’m the opposite - my GPA is like 4.4/4.0 and I’m number 3/350, but my SAT was only 2210 (780m, 750w, 680cr, whoops).</p>
<p>Because with the theatre program I do, I can’t do sports because I would miss half the practices. </p>

<p>I think your stats are great. I’m jealous of your SAT score. But a lot of your academic awards don’t mean much. Your academic schedule is pretty rigorous, but mind you, there are a lot of other people with similar schedules.</p>
<p>I think you need to strongly emphasize how committed you are to theater in your essays and explain that’s why you lack EC’s in other fields. Colleges like to see commitment and the fact that you quit sports and lack EC’s in junior year will hurt you unless you provide an adequate explanation (hence, explain in your essay with theater).</p>
<p>Get good recommendation letters and strong essays. You have a pretty good chance overall. Also, be sure to take some SAT II’s!</p>
