Chances from Maryland?

I know everyone hates chances threads, but I'm bored waiting for the Denver-Dallas game and just kind of sitting around/working on my personal statements and whatnot...

UC GPA: 3.85 (UW 3.53 on a 4.0 scale) ---Rank 24/475 (top 5%)
SAT: 2210 (760M, 730CR, 720W)
SAT IIs: 800 MIIC, 770 US-H, 760 Physics
APs: Stat - 5, Calc AB - 5, US-H - 5, Eng. Lang. and Comp - 4, Comp Sci - 4

I've always taken all the hardest courses...taking 4 APs and 1 Honors this year, took 4 APs and 3 Honors last year. About my GPA: I was, for whatever reason, not all that motivated in 9th and 10th grade...last year, through a combination of much more interesting teachers and my realization I could do a lot better, I became much more interested in all of my classes and got straight As.

ECs: -3 years of Varsity Golf...our team was county and district champions all 3 years and qualified for the state tournament all 3 years as well.
-4 years Ski Club
-bunch of service-learning hours
-US FIRST Robotics club just formed this year
-Work since 10th grade, about 30 hours a week
-I've also been building and maintaining my own PCs since 9th grade...

Anyway, what would my chances look like for EECS? I'm applying ED to Cornell, but if I don't get in there Berkeley is probably my #1 choice (that and CMU are my two RD reach schools). I know EECS is the hardest to get into...but that's just what I've wanted to study since 9th grade so I'm not going to go for a different major just to get into Berkeley, as I'd rather go somewhere else for EE/CompE than to Berkeley for something else. I'm also applying to UC-Davis - how would my chances be there? I know my scores are pretty high for there (and decent for Berkeley even), but Davis only takes like 4 or 5% from out-of-state as far as I knew...

Thanks for any replies!

Which county in Maryland are you from?

I can start off by saying that you will most likely get accepted to UC: Davis. But Berkeley might be a reach, especially for EE. Your course selection is definitely good but your GPA might hinder you.

SAT's are good, but just write some good essays that reveal a lot about yourself and be sure to talk about your interest in EE (especially your PC building and all). With some great essays, you'll definitely increase your chances (obviously :P)
