wow..u sound like me....and i got in!! What is your ethnicity (just a random question). I thought i had no chances, but got in to early action. Email if u want advice.

I actually think you have a pretty good chance at Stanford. But admissions can be really random - although I saw many ppl like u at admit weekend, with boys state delegate, ASB President, etc. Work on your essays - these tend to be very big for Stanford.

You don't exactly have a great chance at Stanford, but that isn't necessarily a bad thing.

The point I'm making is that you have the stats for Stanford; if you got in, I would not be surprised. However, Consider that out of the above average applicants, around 1 in 8 will be selected. If you stand out among the other 8 you'll be in.

I don't know about Georgetown, but I should make my opinion somewhat clear . . .

You're obviously a great student with great SATs and SAT IIs. Your AP scores show you actually work in class, and your ECs are excellent. I think that you are the kind of person that gets in to Stanford. However, I have also seen/heard of a lot of people rejected at SCEA and RD with your stats. Figuring out your chances would be nearly impossible, but I think you've done all you can do, and have a possibly above average chance. Stanford is a reach, but it's a realistic reach. I think you've got what it takes.
