I'm currently attending a Community College as a Freshman and I have taken 12 credits already and received a 3.4 for the 1st semester. I'm taking 14 credits this semester. I applied to USC as a transfer student and also as open or undecided. I figured I'd have a better chance as undecided rather than putting something like business which is highly competitive. I'm a Socal resident also which may help. I feel that I wrote an awesome application essay so i'm good there. I didn't get the best grades in high school. I had an avg gpa of 3.0 for my 4 yrs of high school and I got around a 1300 on my SAT scores. I'm hoping that USC will look and see how i've improved and grown up since high school. I'm a 3rd generation legacy (Grandpa, Grandma, Dad, 4 uncles, and 2 aunts) all attended and my grandparents were big supporters. I don't know if this will help me much in the admissions area but it may give me a little competitive edge. I probably won't be able to get in but I figured the worst they could say was no and if I got in somehow that would be awesome. If anyone has any thoughts on this it'd be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

Anyone? Also, does anyone know that average gpa of transfer students for USC?

Which USC are you talking about, South Carolina or Southern California?
