Hi everyone. I'm relatively new here, but I would like to know my chances at Berkeley, USC, Harvey Mudd, and other various UCs. I would like to stay close to home Southern California, so keep that in mind. Thanks for reading this!

Thank you for reading this. I hope for many suggestions!

Your GPA is great, you took (are taking) hard courses, your SAT Is are low to middle for the top UCs, but the SAT IIs make up for them easily. Active ECs with leadership shown.

I say:

UC Berkeley--match to slight reach
UCLA/UCSD--match
UCSB/UCI/UCD-safe match
UCSC/UCR/UCM-safeties
Harvey Mudd-reach (they'll count the freshman year, UC Berkeley won't)
USC--match
Pepperdine-match
Pomona-match to slight reach

I say go to the bioscience program at UCLA/UCSD and then on to UCSF or UOP for pharmacy--or on to Berkeley for chemistry masters.

Our school treats GATE more like a club. The advisor deals with all the money issues given by the district/state(supplies, equipment, competition stuff), while officers deal with the fundraising/field trip portion of the club.

Oh yes, I was planning to apply for the TAP program at USC, which is basically a pre-pharmacy program that guarantees entrance at USC's School of Pharmacy, if I keep up my GPA, without having to take the PCATs. Is that a good idea? There is a similar program at UOP as well.
