<p>Your SAT is holding you back from what might be a high match and putting you at a reach. STUDY STUDY STUDY STUDY. Also, have you taken SAT2? You either need 2 SAT2 scores or the ACT for your application. Some people do radically better on the ACT so that should be something to consider. I'd say you'd need to have a good 2000+ minimum on your SAT to have a good chance.</p>

<p>I think your gpa and extracurriculars will give you a reasonable distinction. However, your SAT score should improve. If you are certain that Brandeis is your match (ideal) school, then I personally think you should have no trouble getting in by ED. The key of getting into Brandeis is by showing them genuine "interest."</p>
