Hon, don't worry so much about your ACT score. Rice's 25%-75% is 30-34, which means about 1 in 4 of their students has your score or lower. If you feel so terrible, you can always prep and take the ACT again. You can try the SAT again too. The rest of your stats are in line for Rice, so don't worry so much! You have a good shot.

For Rice, the SAT score report is due by the 28th of February according to the College Board, so you're fine. You could even fit in the SAT in January.

"will be really good cause im disciplined like an asian and teachers i have like that cause we don't have asians at out school so they don't know better"

HAH! Good for you.

LOL sorry. I browse too many forums while I'm here at CC; I'm applying to a lot of schools. Emmm... Speaking of deleting posts...

Let me just try again.

Carnegie Mellon's 25%-75% is 27-32, according to the Princeton Review. You lie well within this, so don't worry about your ACT score so much.

The rest of your stats are well in line with Carnegie Mellon, so don't worry about those. The SAT score report is due by January 1st, but your scores might be able to make it.

I definitely need to get back to writing essays for apps, which I've been doing for HOURS. No wonder I'm typing like I'm drunk!

Good luck. You have a good chance.
