What are my chances for John Hopkins, Emory, Georgia Tech and University of Georgia and Duke. Any things you would recommend me to do?

great upwards trend, pretty good SAT, i can see that you have a good interest in math/science. its good to see that you have a sport on there, so you’re definitely diverse.

all i can say is write a good essay and have good teacher recs (which shouldnt really be a problem), and you’ll be a very qualified applicant. good luck

Uga is an in very likely.

where the heck do you live that they have a 100 point weighted scale ? that’s so strange. Never heard of it around here.

gtech is getting harder, so I’m not sure on that one.
Anyway, Emory you have a chance at.

It’s good that your grades are going up though =)

Duke is very unlikely for you. Our valedictorian couldn’t even get in early -.-; I’m hoping he gets in regular.
Just make yourself stand out with your essays. Nothing is worse than a boring essay/one that doesn’t really show off yourself.

littlehamsterz - its a 7 point extra points for any Honors, AP or College level class.

its actually low, compared to the other county’s around Georgia where they receive a 10 point “bonus” for any honors or AP classes.
