I was published in Chicken Soup for the Soul last year, and received payment for my contribution.
I won a regional award for journalism last fall.
165 hours of community service- volunteer on a biweekly basis as a tutor at an school for underprivileged students, summer camp counselor, etc.</p>
<p>I plan to intern at a large scale newspaper this summer or a hospital internship.
I am also a strong writer.</p>
