Chances Help!!! Transferring from UC to UC!

I'm at UCLA in Electrical Engineering, I've applied for UC Berkeley and would really like to know my chances, since I've heard that UC to UC transfer is very hard.

College Stats:
Year: Sophmore
GPA: 3.85
Current School: UCLA
Major: Electrical Engineering
School/Major Applied: Cal/EECS

I think its probably a long shot, but do you guys think I have a chance?

bummpppppp

It's hard to say...just wait for the decisions.

You have a chance, but they do give priority to community college students.

Be happy at UCLA!! It's more fun than Berkeley imo.

I agree with the guy above me. I'd stay at UCLA. UCB's engineering program might be a little more "highly regarded", but it's not really going to make a difference when employers are evaluating your resume. Do not transfer for (a minimal increase in) prestige, especially if you are happy at UCLA.

Ah we're similar... I'm a Computer Science Engineering major at UCD and I'm trying to transfer to Berkeley's L&S CS. My GPA is 3.93.

On the UCOP.edu Transfer Update form, did you fill in the forms titled:

*Transferable college courses in English Composition (if applicable):
Transferable college courses in mathematical concepts and quantitative reasoning (if applicable): *

?

I'm not sure if we need to...
