Chances! (help!) Will my GPA hurt?

Right now i'm a highschool senior (just finished junior year).
My overall GPA is 3.7 (unweighted)(and our school doesnt..weight..damn it..)

Our school's "A" starts from 94% (I hope colleges consider this alot...)
I go to one of privates schools (quite tough.) and our school doesnt rank.

In total i took (+ gonna take in senior year) 5 AP's.
- Chem
- Euro
- Cal AB
- Statistic,
- Psychology

Also i took 4 SAT IIs .
- Chem: 760
- Bio: 790
- IIC: 800
- Korean: 800

My SAT is ~2200.

- Columbia.

Thank you again and be honest plz!

i think you could get into all of those...just wondering...does your school have honors courses as well

unforunately we dont have honors :(Only APs.
but i took some advanced classes like Chinese II, BiologyII, etc.

saewhan07:

UCB/UCLA: Match (out of state)

you can't really "estimate" your SATs. in any case, 3.7 GPA is very low for any ivies. no chance at princeton for sure. the others? you need lots of luck

oh my is that true

3.7 is very low for any ivies? Are you sure? It is ECs that play role a lot and this:

3.7 is not very low....just because most ppl have all a;s means nothing

In by the way..I think most schools start their A's at 94. And the only thing weighted at my school are AP classes.

So do i have chances or not? plz comment on this~~

I do not think my GPA is that low,
(and most schools don't have 94-A grading system)
since i think my sat scores can cover it up quite,
wat do u think?

if you have a 2400, that might cover up 3.7 a LITTLE. if you have a 2250+, that only places in you the above average profile for SAT scores. so no, your sat score cannot cover up the GPA, even if it is based on 94 points.
