<p>I think you'll be fine for the schools in Florida. UNC/Mich might be tough. I'm not sure if I read your thread carefully, but did you happen to take any SAT II's? Usually, most of the students applying to competitive schools as such take 2-3 SAT II's. But then again, for some schools if you take the ACT with the writing portion, it counts in lieu of the two sat ii's, so you might want to check.</p>

<p>Your grades seem pretty high, but you might want to increase your SAT score if you hope to attend your reach schools. You could play up the fact of your being a news anchor, which I think is pretty unique. Also, do you think you could play for those schools in terms of sports?</p>
