I'm getting nervous that I didn't apply to enough schools and am considering adding some privates. I only applied to 4 top UC's, 1 private, and cal poly. All opinions would be really appreciated. I'm a physics major.

I think that's actually a superscore. What was your best sitting SAT score hopeful? They don't look at your best from individual sittings. (I'll also let it be known that I don't believe in giving sub 10 essay scores a 700+ writing score, but that's just me).

Thanks for the responses! The 2120 is my best sitting. I'm a girl, not a guy(cheerleading should have given that away). USC is the private. Applied to Cal Poly mostly because everyone at my school does but I really wouldn't want to go there. Davis was my 4th UC, not Irvine. Does anyone know anyone with my test scores and grades that didn't get into either UCLA or CAL? I think my essays were good but I didn't have anything amazing to write about.

I'm glad IlikeDice doesn't score SAT's because you really can get an 8 on the essay and a 700 writing score :)

you should be fine, no need to apply to more schools since UCLA and Cal should be pretty easy to get in with your score, Davis is a good back up and Cal Poly SLO or pomona... SLO has some good majors such as their architecture program if she want to do that... as for USC if you can get in UCLA, then USC shouldn't be hard to get in either...
