chances horrid ec's decent grades/scores

-wgpa- 4.5
-uwgpa- 3.6 or 3.7, not real sure
-37/~440 rank
-ACT- 34 w/o writing, 35 if superscored with previous sitting, taking again late october with writing
-SAT- 1300 (700 M, 600CR, 640 W) 1940/2400 from two years ago, waiting on october scores, expect 1400 at the most comprehensible worst, realisticaly around 1500/2200
-SAT 2's- taking next month
-AP - 5 Calc BC, 4 AP Human Geography, 3 Eng Lang(yeh sucks)

taking all ap's this year
all honors/ap classes all four years, if honors or ap was available

10th, 11th grade did Science Research and wrote a real research paper for both, not just some science fair poster board, won awards for paper at some acadamy of science, also won award at a regional science fair

-National Merit semi- waiting on finalist
-beta club member
-Latin honor society maybe- got necessary grade required in latin but never got inducted formally so i dont know
-some other minor service club
-also got some leadership position at my school during graduation- it is seen as minor honor/award

pretty much no work experience or volunteering outside of school, and what i did with school, clubs, etc was minimal

essays might be pretty good but i have no clue, rec's will be solid

do i have a shot at :
GA Tech engineering
Northwestern
Emory
BC
Duke
Georgetown
Yale

probably all of those are GIANT reaches especially duke and yale but you never know

Your scores are great but if thats all your EC’s…i dont know what to say…theres gotta be more there man. You are a shoo in at GA Tech and matched for emory but the rest are unlikely unless you find stuff to do.

your scores don’t exist, seeing as none of those schools will take an ACT w/o writing. I don’t know if your competitive at any of those schools, but i don’t know much about some of them.

Never mind your EC’s. Your academics cut you out of Duke, Yale, and probably Georgetown.

They also leave Northwestern, BC, and Emory as low reaches / high matches. Your EC’s definitely leave much to be desired, and colleges will definitely take note.

Get some more safeties.
