All three great (I got a third from my Spanish teacher), and one said I got the highest average ever in his class, which was cool.

Seemed good enough. They're good stories/descriptions, and my advisor thought they were entertaining and enlightening.

Also:
National Merit Semifinalist
Legacy through my father and grandfather

My prediction: rejected at Huntsman, accepted at college.

To be honest, Huntsman will be a tough challenge with these scores and ECs.
I think you may have a fighting chance for Wharton.
Huntsman only admits around 30 students per year, and you've got to have some very unique character which I dont think you have

you're a very strong candidate at any Ivy but, of course, it is an Ivy and is at a certain point a lottery, so you can't bet on anything. Good luck!

Hmm, the stat published was that 85% of the Huntsman kids matriculated for the class of 2011, correct? That caused over-enrollment (the website publishes that they shoot for 45 kids, but 2011 has 50 or 51 I think) so if you do the math, the program accepted closer to 60 kids last year.

i think that the huntsman is a high reach and that penn is a reach. i would never say that an ivy is a match for anyone, though.

just for reference, i applied rd with lower gpa and higher test scores and got waitlisted. however, with legacy and ed i think you have a better chance.
