Do many appeal apply to UNC who have 5's on all AP exams?
Am I overqualified for the school?
Thanks for your input

im gonna be completely honest..if you're from out-of-state, you're never OVERQUALIFIED for UNC. your test scores are solid, but your lack of ap courses taken during junior yr might be a problem. does your school have a limit to the number of ap's students can take? and what about your weighted gpa? i think being a URM will help

I took 2 AP courses junior year and three AP exams junior year (got a 5 on each exam). I will take 3 more AP's during senior year..for a total of 6 AP's. That's not enough for UNC?

no, 6 ap's is great. but it just seems like a lot of UNC applicants send in at least 4 or 5 scores by the time they apply.

from UNC's website:

80.6% submitted at least one AP exam score
69.2% submitted three or more scores
45.7% submitted five or more scores
19.5% submitted seven or more scores

^ i'm not sure if these stats refer to how many AP scores an applicant sends in BY THE TIME THEY APPLY, or if they refer to the total number of scores sent in by the start of their freshman yr. im assuming its the first one? but it probably isnt a big deal since you got 5's on all of them!
