Chances??(I know, annoying but still needed)

I'm currently a junior. I am an African American female. Does my ethnicity help greatly?
My course load has been all the honors and 11APs by the end of senior year

My GPA is 3.8 UW and 4.65W and i plan on getting at least a 2250 on the SAT and 33 on ACT
I plan on getting at least 700 on the Physics and Math 2 SATII( I know, I know "don't count your chickens before they hatch" "best laid plans of mice and men" "expect the unexpected" this is my projected score and I only want my chances based on these scores. Obviously if my scores are lower, I know my chances will be worse and vice versa)

Bumpitty-bump bump

I will also be applying ED as well, not to help my chances but because I love the school. I am curious if ED does actually help my chances regardless

According to the CDS, racial/ethnic status is considered, but not important.

One bad thing I see in your profile is a downward trend in grades. You’re gonna wanna fix that very soon. The Bs seem to be balanced out by a few A pluses, but selective schools like JHU only like one letter.

Students applying ED last year were more than two times as likely to be accepted. Over 1/3 of ED applicants were admitted.

I would say that is your scores come out as you think they will, JHU is a high match. Your essay can tip the scale in either direction.

Also, bumping two minutes after you post is completely unnecessary and accomplishes nothing.

Thank you for your input. @immasenior And sorry, as you can tell by my low number of posts, I am relatively new to this, I was just trying it out.

That’s ok!

Bumping is actually against the rules here, but you will see it in nearly every thread. It is actually used to “bump” your thread to the top of the first page on a specific board. In your case (since it was the most recent post), it was already there.

I am a senior and I applied RD to Johns Hopkins. I am excited to hear back! Best of luck!
