And I signed up for the SAT but I really don't want to take it and I'm not looking to go to college to east or west coast so should I take it?

You’re fine. They tend to focus on GPA.

If you want an absolute safety, get your ACT up to a 29ish range.

If you’re signed up for the SAT, take it! People generally do much better on one than the other. For example, my SAT score “translated” into an ACT score of 28, but I actually got a 33 on the ACT.

I’d say that you are most likely in. I second romani…you should probably just take the SAT because you might do significantly better in comparison to your ACT.

you’re in at MSU, you don’t need to take the SAT. You’ll just be wasting more money.

Unweighted is a 3.81

and i know the above said i would get in but msu has gotten tougher recently so i am still a good shot to get in?

you’re right that msu HAS gotten harder to get into, but you still should be fine for admission. your GPA and ACT score are both in the range of accepted students.

You’re in at State. Send your applications in to Madison, Ann Arbor and Bloomingon. You have a good chance of getting admitted there too.
