<p>I was fairly confident in my chances until I just realized I did the dumbest thing. In my engineering essay I was writing about a shirt I saw someone wearing about Cornell. It said "Ithaca is Cold", but on my essay I accidentally wrote Ithica. Do you think it will really **** them off if I spelled their city wrong. I may just be overthinking this. Any comments appreciated.</p>

<p>Oh don't worry about your typo. Seriously, I looked mine over and was mortified to find "alot." </p>

<p>Great stats, though. Very impressive scores, ECs, AP, and GPA/class rank. I'd give you quite nice chances.</p>

<p>Thanks, I definitely feel much better knowing that everyone finds mistakes on theirs. Luckily I think that is the only mistake. I was just worried it was an extremely important one</p>

<p>lol ya...what I ended up doing was on a supplemental thing I sent in I made sure to fit the word Ithaca in.</p>

<p>and the lack of familiarity with anything having to do with mythology or ancient Greece or history or literature will probably be forgiven in an engineering applicant...</p>

<p>Sadly I actually am familiar with the Odyssey I just wasnt thinking at the time. I was thinking more about what I was trying to say not how to spell it. Whatever, hopefully it will be ok.</p>
