Chances I will do better the fourth time?

Hello, My mom and I are considering whether or not I should take the act again in October(for stupid reasons I didn’t sign up for September). I just don’t know if I should. My goal is a 32 because I really want the Alabama full tuition but we will see. Here are my scores and let me know what you think(I am a senior BTW):

December:read through big book(kinda)
composite: 26
Math:27
Science:27
English:25
Reading 24

April: forgot about test till night before so I quickly read two reading passages from big red book
Composite:31
Math:29
Science:35
English:28
Reading:33

June: hardcore studies Barron’s perfect 36 book for week prior(helped English and math a little bit.)
Composite:29
Math:30
Science:28
English:30
Reading:29

I never took any practice tests but I will if I decide to take again in October.
I felt really confident about the April test but so/so about June. I was really sad that my score went down and that my sub scores fluctuated so much. If you were in my position, do you think it is a good idea to take again?

It is well worth it to take it again for Bama! My D17 is doing the same thing except she is taking September and we just signed her up for October just in case. She got a 30 the first time-no prep and a 31 the second time with a little bit of prep. She has done more prep this summer and we are hoping it will help. I’ll let you know on Sept. 20th!

@jeepgirl good luck to her! I would love that scholarship from Bama but the score drop didn’t help at all. If only they superscored.

@jeepgirl My son is a senior and taking it in September too. Just wondering, if your daughter decides not to take it in October, can you get a refund?

@uwalummom I don’t believe so. I believe we should begetting there scores back on Sept. 20th and I didn’t want to pay the late fee for signing up.
