<p>Hi BNR…your stats are similar to my daughter who was accepted ED for next semester. UR is need blind so your economic status won’t enter in to the equation. However, UR also meets 100% of need so you would be in great shape for FA if you are accepted. Make sure your essay really sells you as someone that UR needs to have on campus!</p>
<p>Definitely will get accepted. Trust me. Apply RD, you’ll probably get a full ride. I know this school and I know for sure you’ll get accepted.</p>
<p>There are not very many “definites” in college admissions. A friend of my daughter applied RD. She was in the top 1% of her class. WL at Richmond and accepted at Yale. She’s still puzzled but was very happy with the Yale admit.</p>
<p>^That is very random. I never really looked up to Richmond, well honestly I don’t look up to schools who always send me stuff in the mail. I like competition, and Richmond always sends me letters and packages.</p>

<p>^^ no, not an info packet they’ve sent me emails saying that I’d be getting scholarships and then also sending me info at least once a month about the school.</p>
<p>^^ I seriously doubt that UR sent you emails telling you that you’d get scholarships. Need based aid maybe. Scholarships, highly unlikely.</p>

<p>UR has silently changed their loan policy in the past year, at least I never saw any announcement about the change. Previously they limited loans to $4000. Now it appear that they are using Stafford loan guidelines of $5500 frosh, $6500 soph, & $7500 Jr/Sr years. That’s $16,000 vs. $27,000 over 4 years. UR still has very good FA, just not as good as in the past. They use FAFSA and do not include home equity as an asset.</p>
<p>A scholarship would probably be hard to come by with your test scores. The Richmond Scholars program is very competitive and if you got anything less than a full scholarship, you would still need financial aid.</p>
