a lot of my friends are getting in ed...most have lesser sats, but they all have all As through hs, more activities, jobs, etc. i'm also worried...does w&m consider satIIs that don't enhance the app?

maybe i'm being overly worried, but i'm going crazy these days...what do you think? are my chances decent?

To answer one of your questions, when I went on the campus tour one of the people from the admissions staff told us that they would only be considering the Verbal and Math portions of the SAT this year.

100% accepted, imo. My friend just got in with identical stats except way lower SATs. You have nothing to worry about as long as you don't bunk the essay.

ok thanks...yeah, i was thinking about sending slides or something, but i couldn't set it all up w/ my art teacher. oh well--i'm not planning to major in art anyway, so i don't know how that would look.

It doesn't matter if you are not planning to major in art. Maybe you can submit a page of some photos of your art as part of the optional submission. Your gpa is good and so are your SAT scores. Art would show another dimension to you and help round out your application. This has been a significant part of your life for four years and that's important.
