chances, in a tough situation

I'm in a pickle right now. I used to be enrolled at a top 100 university and transferred to a top 50 university at the beginning of this school year.

However, recently, my family has been going through a lot of problems and I am beginning to think I should finish up college close to home...

I was wondering:

Do you guys think transferring twice will severely impact my chances?

and what are my chances at:
BU
Northeastern
Brandeis

stats:
2nd semester soph standing
high school, 3.0 maybe? i cant really remember, but like a B average

sats were pretty bad like a 1700 or something

gpa at old school ~3.7

last semester 3.57

thanks.

Northeastern- you should be in
BU- good chance
Brandeis- iffy

in at northeastern. but you know most people at northeastern are on a 5-year coop plan?

bu- agree, good chance

brandeis - they have a higher transfer accept rate than freshman acceptance rate, so give it a shot.. i don't think transferring twice will hurt you if you do a good job of explaining your circumstances in your essays.

thanks guys.

yeah im aware of the co-op program, but i don't really think it is that important for my major, so i will probably opt out of it.

Yeah, I think you could benefit at Brandeis even more if you're a minority. They're always looking for diversity.
