<p>Hey guys. I get the feeling that I might not get into Baruch because of it's low admissions rate. My UW GPA is an 88 and my SAT score is a 1070 (CR- 460 M-610). I have dont several hours of volunteer work and joined many clubs. I'm currently the captain of my tennis team. I've taken Algebra 2 Honors and I'm taking AP Calculus AB this year. Do you guys think I have a chance? If not, please tell me what I have to do in order to improve me chances! Thanks so much guys.</p>
<p>you have a decent chance. Baruch is a fairly easy school to get into. I would advise you to boost your sat score if possible.</p>

<p>A 88 GPA, on the 100 scale, is pretty much the norm at Baruch (or 3.6 on the 4 scale).</p>

M: 590/690</p>
<p>I know Baruch operates on the 1600 scale but most scattergrams I’ve got were on the 2400 scale.</p>

<p>Hi everyone, sorry to post this now but i just received my sat scores. I got the same, 1070(CR-470 M-600), I have a 91.68 GPA(about 3.7). I’m a senior I’ve taken AP calculus ab, AP US History, 3 college now classes, and currently AP statistics. I have about 40 hours of community service and I am desperate to get into Baruch because I hear its very popular for its business programs. Please, how are my chances looking? I also am; submitting 2 letters of recommendation(one from the head of the math dept. at my school) and 1 college essay</p>

<p>Hello! First of all, I am fairly certain that Baruch sends holiday cards to everyone on their mailing list, so it is no indication of whether you are going to be admitted or not.</p>
<p>Your SAT scores are pretty low, though Baruch is a less selective school than statistics may show. I think it is a match school for you. If you haven’t already applied, I suggest getting stellar recommendations (from both teachers and someone outside academia), and writing exceptional essays. Those can help cushion your low scores.
