Chances in Honors program and chances in BS/MD program?

howdy folks.

Also, do I have any chance for a merit scholarship or something?

Here are my stats:

gpa: 3.3 uw
class rank: n/a (school doesn't rank)
SAT 1: 2240
combined cr&math: 1490
sat math level 2: 770
sat bio-m: 750
sat world history: 760
ap ab calc:5
ap world history: 5
ap us history: 5
national merit commended
ap scholar
won dean's list award 3 times

total of 6 honors classes
total of 4 AP classes, not including senior year classes

senior courses:
ap physics c
ap chem
ap stat
ap comp sci
comparative lit

ECs:
20 hrs/wk for 1 summer working at a hospital--shadowed doctors
worked at Uconn's bme lab over summer
swam with "special kids" and taught them to swim
4 years writing for school newspaper

Do you need anymore info? I have some more ec's but these are the important ones I think.

oh and I’m in-state and half-white half-indian if that makes a difference.

Good chance for honors. Good chance for merit aid. I can’t comment on the BS/MD program.

Thanks for the reply!

your stats are really close to mine (though the GPA is a little low) and i just got my acceptance & a $50,000 scholarship. i’d say your chances are good.

I got my acceptance letter for the honors program yesterday. We have similar stats, so if it wasn’t for your GPA, I’d say you’re definitely in. Factoring your GPA into the mix, I’d still say you have a high chance, but it makes things a bit iffy (your GPA’s not spectacular).

I have the same GPA as you and lower test scores and same courses.
I got a full tuition scholarship today.
I think you’ll be fine.

Thanks for all the responses!!!

Also I just got my fall term senior gpa and it was 3.62–will that help at all?

It certainly will not hurt…

Does your invitation to the honors program come in the same packet as your college acceptance package?

yes it does
