what do yall think?? Im applying for engineering and math is my strong subject. Also my rank is pretty good. I know my critical reading isn't as good but I just can't help it! What are my chances? and any suggestions??

anyone??? pls..

If you can push the verbal stuff up into the 700 range you'll look a lot better. You have a shot even with current scores. Try to find some leadership positions in your ECs.

other thoughts???

rice takes only scores from one sitting?
i think you got pretty good chance with your stats right now, >50%

id say you have a good chance, but probably not necessarily >50%.

alright chances. but being in state (and in the same city) will hurt. theres probably tons of houstonians applying to rice.

what do u mean rice only takes scores from one sitting?
