Class Rank
In the top 10 in a very competitive top public high school

holy **** how do you take so many classes?

Most are done in school, but some others I have taken in the morning before school starts. Also math and science research are kind of like independent studies that I do in my free time. They meet once a week during lunch for half a period whenever you need guidance and if you do all of your work on time, they are super easy hundreds

Realistically, let’s aim for top 25-10ish.

Your GPA is perfectly on track. 3.85 is pretty realistic for Cornell, Georgetown, Northwestern, Chicago, UCLA, others. As long as you can confirm a 2100-2150, you’ll be good as well, though a 2000 isn’t that bad, and 2200 can definately push you ahead. Though your EC’s are a laundry list, you’re founder of one of the clubs, didn’t you assume any leadership in em? Include only the ones that prove some accomplishments, or get some leadership/accomplishments in them.

AP scholar is good, and get atleast 700-750+ on your next SAT 2’s.

Other than HYPS, Darthmouth, CalTech, you stand a GREAT chance at the rest. Have fun not actually taking like 90 classes =P

I will get leadership positions as I grow older. Generally, they are given to the 11th or 12th graders that show up. The SAT is fine, I took it in March of freshman year cold as a basement score and I have been studying now. I will probably get 2200 next time I take it.

As you grow older? Didn’t you just list your senior and junior year grades?

^ I think they’re projected.

Can I ask how your unweighted GPA is calculated since you made straight A’s and you don’t have 4.0?

HoldTheMayo: get a life. if the reason you signed on to CC was to ■■■■■, find something better to do.

Yeah, don’t do that. You can’t predict your scores. What if you get sick? Or some teacher goes to maternity leave and you get a sickly easy sub? Don’t assume bro, just list what you REALLY have.

And seriously, no ■■■■■■■■ guy^^^

Really can’t give you any helpful comment based on projections. It’s like asking what schools can I get into if I have great SATs, a 4.0 GPA, and amazing ECs. It doesn’t really narrow anything down. I’m also surprised gym counts as part of your grade.

You seem ambitious, but it’s normal to have an obsession for Ivy League when you are smart, ambitious and very young.
You can’t project your future like that though, who knows what can happen? Maybe you fall in love with a girl and want to stay local? Someone dies in your life and you break down?
Maybe you will find out that there are other things to life than grades and excellence?

You might laugh, but there is a realistic chance that might happen.

^ That’s very true. And I’m saying this from personal experience – sometimes you just project stats for yourself that turn out to be different later on.
