Chances in UC's?

to start off, I am an american-born asian (if that matters) attending a reputable and competitive public high school in LA. I am interested in applying mainly to UC's and would like some input/recommendations on where I stand in admissions.

here are my stats:
majoring in EE
GPA - 4.0 weighted
SAT I - 2010 (retaking OCT, expecting 2100+)
SAT II - 800 physics, 800 math2c
+ courses @ community college

extra curriculars (generalizing for privacy reasons):
music - bands, toured in various events, composition
large community service coordinator
150+ hours community service
math competition awards
club officer in school
intership at a large corporation

how are my chances for the following?
UCB
UCLA
UCSD
UCD
UCI

(any recommendations for reputable privates if I take another SAT 2, scoring 750+?)

and, does anyone have suggestions or tips on UC essays?
thanks a lot for your help!

I think you have a good chance at the UCs. All seem pretty safe to me. UCB is a maybe because it's really competitive but you have a good chance and you're doing well!

levitt2:

UCB/UCLA: Slight Reach (Engineering)
UCSD: Match (Engineering)
UCI/UCD: Safety

I agree with flopsy's predictions in this case.

thanks a lot for your help guys!

flopsy: I see that you go to UCLA. can you share with me any tips on UC essays? I hear that UC's do not consider the essays as much as privates, but how much can it really affect one's admissions?

Sorry, I don't think I can give any substantial tips on the UC essays because I forgot what I originally wrote - I think I just winged it, and wrote something bland about the nerdy places where I hung out after school.
