Chances into University of Florida

I am currently a senior in High school in Texas. I am looking to apply to University of Florida in Gainesville. I was wondering what my chances would be, please let me know!

GPA: 4.4/5 (Weighted) 3.4/4 (Unweighted)
Sat: 1250
Act: 25
Interested Major: Business Administration
Sub-Major/Pre-professional Program: Pre-med

I am involved in out of school sports, in school sports and a plethora of other extra curricular activities. I have managed to log over 100 hours of community service, all the way from tutoring Syrian refugee children, to creating a health improvement plan for the city of Austin. I have also participated in a two week internship with a Neurologist as well. I am aware that my academic scores (GPA/Tests) are fairly low, however I do have the extracurriculars (Clubs, Community Service, Sports, etc.) to back it up. I also have several letters of recommendation from my teachers, club sponsors, coaches, and volunteer leaders. I am also very comfortable with my essay writing abilities, possibly giving me an upper hand during my application decision. Please let me know my chances of getting accepted into UF! I am very eager to go there to further my education! Thank you in advance!

Your extra curricular’s are excellent, but you really need to get your GPA (4.4/5 is only a 3.6 weighted for UF) and test scores up! Letter’s of Recommendation are not considered by UF. You seem like a low match, but you really should re-take the ACT, I believe the October test is the last one you can take for the deadline.

The deadline has passed for the ACT. On a percentage scale out of 100% what do you think my chances would be for acceptance? I’ve put my heart and soul into extracurriculars, my essays are fantastic, although my GPA is slightly lacking along with my test scores i still believe i have a fairly decent chance, but i may be in over my head. My sat score is right below the average for the 2016 admitted freshman. Let me know! Thank you !

Your ACT isn’t too low, and you seem well rounded! I would say you have a decent/pretty good chance, maybe 60%? Have you taken AP’s, Dual Enrollment, Honors, etc.?

All the courses i’ve taken throughout my high school career have been AP courses or pre ap courses. (Pre-ap is the same as honors) other than 3 classes. Everything has been high academicly. I’m involved in multiple extracurricular activities and i am a member of national honor society and the mathematics honor society, as well as three other school clubs! i am also a part of about four other out of school organizations.
