you seem to be really good at math, but you should try and up your score on Writing and CR because if you did, your chances would increase by a lot...you wouldn't just be another smart asian math guy

i can say with confidence that you are in at UCSD. Get your GPA up a little bit (avg for UCLA is 4.24 and UCB is a little above that) and try to boost your SAT I's by like 100 points if possible. Your SAT II's are very good though, so that will help. Also try to get a little more leadership in your EC's rather than just member of this club, member of that club, blah blah blah. Colleges want people who are passionate about a few activities, rather than just members of many things. If nothing changes, I think you have at least a shot, but I wouldnt count on anything (except UCSD)

tafokints:

UCLA: Slight Reach
UCB: Slight Reach
UCSD: Match

You seem pretty fine. If I were you though, might as well bump up that SAT I to a 2200. It won't hurt and it'll help infinitely.

test scores are fine. but UCLA and UCB are slight reaches your ec's arent really showing committment. but, you definitely have a shot at all UC's. just make sure your essay is the best you can ever produce

thanks alot for the feedback. I'm definitely taking sat I again this june, and the ec activities are up to last year (i didnt include up to this year because the year isnt over yet), so bump up each of the clubs/ecs one more year and i'm gonna stay in senior year. So most of my ec's will range in the 3-4 year range. but hopefully i can get into LA

If you do that, then you'll have a good shot at UCLA.

remember UCs only give 8 xtra grade points for honors classes. They are assigned per semester. Any extra honors class you take does not get the xtra grade point. So its immpossible to have a 3.6 uw and a 4.2 w unless ur in like 4 classes. U prolly have like a 3.9/4.0 w.

I know it sucks but 2 days ago, I just found out that my 4.1 was really a 3.8.
