What are my chances at getting into Vassar College?

I would imagine that one would have to see your essays. As I personally feel that at a liberal arts college would weigh rather heavily on your essays, not to mention some weight on test scores.

Would agree about the essays. Your ecs look good though and being male will only help. Other colleges with film to consider would be Bard, Goucher, NYU and Ithaca.

Your GPA seems too low for Vassar, but if you test well (which they care less about, but could help you), and your essays are good, your ECs might get you in.

Being a male doesn’t help as much as one might think, but it might a little bit.

Not sure about Vassar and your chances there, but since you are on the Destination ImagiNation team and I assume you are a senior, I wanted to be sure you were aware that you are eligible for scholarships. Put that creativity to good use and check out the details at [DISC Scholarship Homepage - Destination Imagination Support Committee](http://www.idodi.org/disc/scholarship/)

The criteria weighted most heavily are the creative entry submitted and your DI participation. GPA is not a factor.

There are three tracks to enter: internet, essay and presentation. You can enter one or all!

Good luck in your college search!
